About the role

  • Strategy development: You actively develop growth strategies for the Excipients product area, building on an established customer base, existing market knowledge and long-standing contacts with manufacturers.
  • Team-oriented interface: As the link between product management, purchasing, sales and marketing, you ensure smooth collaboration and coordinate projects.
  • Sales support: Provide professional support to the field sales team during customer visits, project meetings and product trainings.
  • Point of contact for suppliers: Coordinate and communicate with strategic partners.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on schedule, including analysis and the derivation of actions.
  • Representation: You represent Th. Geyer at trade fairs and industry events.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in a scientific field, e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biotechnology
  • Practical laboratory experience desirable
  • Experience in sales or product management, preferably in the excipients field
  • Confident user of MS Office applications and ideally experienced with CRM systems
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%); primarily within Germany, with occasional travel within Europe
  • Enjoyment of sales and active customer engagement
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking
  • Coordination skills as well as a confident manner and an independent working style
