About the role
- Manage a book of small business commercial accounts across various industries (construction, LROs, restaurants, health services, etc.)
- Process new and renewal policies, ensuring accuracy and appropriate coverage
- Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and certificates/evidence of insurance
- Respond to client inquiries including billing, coverage questions, and policy changes
- Support account rounding by advising clients on additional coverage options
- Collaborate with Sales Executives by providing documentation and account insights
- Submit renewals to incumbent carriers and assist in maintaining retention
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (or willingness to obtain)
- 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
