About the role
- Partner closely with the Country Manager and local leadership team, aligning people strategy with commercial priorities
- Guide organizational effectiveness, team structure, workforce planning, and role clarity
- Coach leaders to strengthen management capability and performance accountability
- Use people data to inform leadership decisions and anticipate future needs
- Lead execution of core people cycles including performance management, compensation, and engagement
- Support building Teya's People Machine locally, ensuring strong foundations across hiring, onboarding, development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support high-quality hiring aligned with commercial demand
- Drive initiatives to reinforce Teya's culture and values in a fast-paced environment
- Navigate employee relations and complex people situations with sound judgment
Requirements
- Experienced People Partner supporting commercial, operational, or GTM teams in fast-growing environments (FinTech, SaaS preferred)
- Understanding of headcount planning, productivity, targets, incentives, execution
- Build credibility with leaders through sound judgment, pragmatism
- Comfortable operating close to the business, balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery
- Decisive, practical communication
- Belief in strong culture through clear expectations, leadership, and fair decision-making
- Resilience, maturity, discretion, and understanding of when to challenge or advise
- Curious, commercially minded, and motivated by building environments for people and performance
