About the role
- Retain and expand existing group insurance business by providing excellent service and support.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with agencies to ensure Texicare remains a carrier of choice.
- Lead the annual renewal cycle for all assigned accounts, delivering rate updates and plan options in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborating with the Sales Executives and the Sales Enablement team to facilitate a seamless transition from new sales to ongoing account management.
- Resolve complex inquiries and service issues by identifying root causes to prevent recurring administrative burdens for the group.
- Conduct plan reviews with agents and clients to ensure an excellent member experience.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to agents regarding product portfolios, digital tools, and internal processes.
- Manage account activities, renewal pipelines, and relationships within Salesforce CRM.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in account management for a health plan, TPA, or brokerage or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A customer-oriented, results-driven, and ethical mindset.
- A current health insurance license in Texas or ability to obtain within 30 days.
- The ability to travel within your territory 50% of the time.
