About the role

  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and hiring timelines
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, outreach, and passive recruiting methods
  • Screen applicants and conduct initial phone interviews
  • Coordinate structured interviews and collect feedback
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Prepare offer documentation within approved compensation ranges
  • Maintain complete and accurate ATS records
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, recruitment expos, and workforce events
  • Participate in community engagement initiatives tied to hiring efforts
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, workforce partners, and professional associations
  • Support targeted outreach strategies for hard-to-fill or mission-critical roles
  • Track outreach effectiveness and event-to-applicant conversion
  • Monitor candidate workflow progression within ATS
  • Ensure timely advancement of candidates through recruitment stages
  • Audit candidate files for compliance and completeness
  • Track requisition aging and address stalled processes
  • Generate routine recruitment activity reports
  • Train new hiring managers on proper use of the ATS, including workflow steps, documentation standards, and hiring process expectations.
  • Monitor completion of onboarding documentation
  • Ensure compliance with I-9, background check, and credential verification requirements
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to confirm Day 1 readiness
  • Conduct onboarding file audits
  • Process routine status changes and voluntary separations
  • Route documentation for involuntary separations as directed by HR leadership
  • Maintain personnel file accuracy and documentation standards
  • Generate recruitment and headcount reports
  • Maintain standardized tracking tools
  • Escalate discrepancies to HR leadership

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field; or
  • High school diploma/GED with at least four (4) years of relevant recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Experience representing an organization at recruitment events, job fairs, or workforce outreach activities
  • Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Workable
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and administrative skills
  • Working knowledge of employment compliance fundamentals
  • Must have basic PC skills that include a combination of working in a Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality; able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA standards.
  • Must have the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact; excellent customer services and interpersonal communication skills; Cultural sensitivity and demonstrated ability to work with diverse people groups.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English; Additional language abilities desirable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively interact with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crises or resistant or negative toward organizations.
  • Ability to apply time management practices to prioritize, schedule and complete work effectively to comply with mandated policies and deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks or parts of tasks simultaneously to ensure timely completion of work activities.
  • Must be able to work productively with other departments and employees.
  • Ability to work with professionals from various partners and organizations.
  • Usually works forty (40) hours per week, some weekends may be required.
  • Ability to successfully manage conflict, negotiating “win-win” solutions.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize with strong time management skills.
  • Exceptional follow-through on tasks and assignments
  • Must possess leadership qualities and be able to supervise and secure the cooperation of staff
