About the role

  • Identify and target potential corporate clients and academic institutions through research, networking, and outreach
  • Develop and implement business development plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Create tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to secure new partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite leaders, deans, and program managers to understand their learning needs
  • Represent the organization at conferences and industry events to strengthen brand presence and expand networks
  • Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in executive education
  • Partner with marketing, program design, and operations teams to align sales efforts and ensure smooth program delivery
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in business development
  • MBA or a Master's degree in a related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Sales experience within the education or professional services sector
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in selling complex, multi-year service contracts is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
