About the role
- Identify and target potential corporate clients and academic institutions through research, networking, and outreach
- Develop and implement business development plans to meet or exceed sales targets
- Create tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to secure new partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite leaders, deans, and program managers to understand their learning needs
- Represent the organization at conferences and industry events to strengthen brand presence and expand networks
- Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities in executive education
- Partner with marketing, program design, and operations teams to align sales efforts and ensure smooth program delivery
- Maintain CRM accuracy and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in business development
- MBA or a Master's degree in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
- Sales experience within the education or professional services sector
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in selling complex, multi-year service contracts is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
