About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand plans
- Lead the cross-functional brand team, including strategy in a highly competitive environment, promotional campaigns, and performance tracking
- Mentor and support junior team members and interns to foster talent development
- Oversee partner agencies to ensure timely delivery of projects and programs
- Represent Teva Canada at external events, advisory boards, and industry working groups, contributing to the evolution of the migraine market segment
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and external stakeholders
- Work closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, and Training to ensure alignment and competitive execution of brand strategies
- Act as the marketing contact for Sales and Sales Training teams during Plan of Action meetings and advisory committees
- Conduct advanced market analyses, including disease-burden studies, market sizing, gross-to-net assessments, and budget-impact modeling to inform brand positioning
- Lead monthly and annual forecasting processes using robust analytical methodologies
- Monitor developments in the Canadian migraine market and the reimbursement landscape to anticipate challenges and optimize brand strategy
- Manage brand budgets effectively to maximize return on investment
- Ensure compliance with Canadian pharmaceutical legal, regulatory, and industry standards
- Analyze product performance indicators and oversee inventory management for marketed products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, marketing, business administration, or a related discipline
- MBA or advanced degree in life sciences or business (asset)
- Minimum seven years’ experience in pharmaceutical product or brand management, ideally in CNS psychiatry or specialty medicines
- Proven success in product launches, formulary access activities, and managing complex stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical and project-management skills, with demonstrated expertise in data interpretation and forecasting
- Experience with patient support programs and multichannel marketing strategies (required)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups
- Deep knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical regulations, compliance requirements, and legal frameworks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism preferred (French and English)
- Availability for occasional travel within North America
