About the role
- Coordinate pricing activities and provide the related pricing analysis and support.
- Lead adherence to the pricing policies and procedures.
- Evaluate price increases and secure approval of new product pricing.
- Manage the price increase proposal and approval process.
- Coordinate brand and biosimilar state price transparency reporting.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on gross-to-net sales.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Value & Access teams to guide pricing strategies and support brand planning.
- Provide financial impact assessments for key pricing decisions.
- Develop analytical tools, models, and dashboards for scenario modeling.
- Partner with Government Pricing colleagues for compliance with federal and state price reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, Market Access, Payer contracting or government pharmaceutical price forecasting/reporting.
- Forecasting and predictive modeling experience.
- Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, payer segments, the pharmaceutical pricing environment, and business analysis.
- Strong financial analysis skills including extensive familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prepare and present results to senior management.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory requirements as it pertains to contracting, third party payers, and the government pricing environment.
