About the role

  • Define TEVA Brazil’s medical strategy
  • Develop and implement the local medical strategy aligned with the global strategy
  • Establish ethical relationships with key stakeholders (KOLs, Policy Makers)
  • Ensure, in partnership with the compliance officer, that all activities are appropriate and compliant according to internal rules and Interfarma guidelines and RDC 96
  • Manage and implement policies and strategies to control turnover indicators
  • Manage the medical department’s budget and keep it within the planned limits
  • Develop your team so they can progress within the company
  • Maintain relationships and alignment of priorities with the Medical Affairs teams in international markets
  • Prepare product launches in a timely manner and actively participate in discussions about new medicines
  • Provide medical support and comprehensive business support, and manage medical field activities (MSLs) for products in the Rare Diseases area.

Requirements

  • Medical degree
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in Neurology, Psychiatry or other CNS-related fields preferred
  • Experience in strategic management of medical affairs, regulatory affairs and access related to innovative medicines and rare diseases
  • Experience in strategic leadership of teams and in stakeholder relationship management
  • Advanced/Fluent English
