Pre-sales Engineer

• Help build field engineering from the ground up — as one of the first field engineers at Tessl, you'll help define how we engage customers technically, shape the playbooks, and establish the systems and processes that scale with the team
• Own the technical relationship in sales cycles — run demos, answer hard questions, and build trust with engineering audiences ranging from individual developers to CTOs
• Understand customers' environments — their agent tooling, developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines — and design solutions that map to how their teams actually work
• Guide onboarding and adoption — work with customers post-sale to ensure they're getting real value from the platform, not just licenses
• Code alongside the product team — contribute to product development, build integrations, and prototype solutions that inform the roadmap based on what you see in the field
• Build AI-first GTM tooling — design and ship internal tools that make our go-to-market motion smarter: automated demos, AI-assisted onboarding, technical qualification tooling, and more
• Surface product insights — act as the voice of the field back to engineering and product; the patterns you see across customers are signal we need

Developer Relations

• Go beyond writing about the product, build with it.
• Write articles, tutorials, and guides, and produce videos that give developers practical, actionable insights into AI native development with Tessl.
• Be an active, visible presence in the AI developer community, speaking at events, participating in forums, engaging on social, and helping highlight what developers are building with Tessl.

Developer Advocate

• Go beyond writing about the product, build with it. Create apps, integrations, and creative projects using Tessl that inspire and enable the developer community to do the same
• Write articles, tutorials, and guides, and produce videos that give developers practical, actionable insights into AI native development with Tessl
• Be an active, visible presence in the AI developer community, speaking at events, participating in forums, engaging on social, and helping highlight what developers are building with Tessl
• Constantly explore the AI developer tooling landscape, identifying integration opportunities and ways to connect Tessl with the broader ecosystem
• Run webinars, appear on podcasts, and make yourself at home in other people's communities

Research Engineer

• Sit in on a customer session, understand how their agents are failing, design an eval that captures it, and drive a fix through to shipped improvement.
• Close a piece of the outer loop end to end: production signal in, dataset out, eval scored, harness change shipped, metric moved.
• Own a slice of our eval infrastructure: dataset curation, harness configuration, runner, analysis, and the comms back to engineering.
• Prototype a new harness or context configuration and measure whether it actually moves the needle on real customer tasks.
• Dig through pages of agent traces, build the tooling you need to make sense of them, and brief the team on what you found.
• Partner with product and engineering on near-term shipping problems by bringing research rigour.
• Pull a recent paper apart, work out what's actually transferable to our platform, and turn it into a concrete experiment.
