About the role

  • Review customer requests for emergency/urgent/routine service and project work; induct into tracking database and capture all pertinent data.
  • Use information from the customer and management tools to determine the importance of service work or projects relative to financial and mission factors.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and manage risk and issues in a formal repository.
  • Develop program schedules for Facility Related Projects using MS Project.
  • Develop facility project cost estimates (PMT 0160 or equivalent experience).
  • Plan and manage VIP events for DoD and Military senior leaders; serve as master of ceremonies; develop and staff Letter of Instructions; coordinate execution of at least 5 VIP events; verify required protocols.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint to simultaneously track and report progress of at least ten projects.
  • Perform DoD Government Purchase Card operations and conduct Market Research using GSA eTools.
  • Enter work orders into SANG 127th iEMS Work Order System.
  • Coordinate and/or lead surveying, inspecting, programming, scoping, estimating, designing, monitoring, reviewing, and managing facilities sustainment, repair and maintenance, construction projects, and service contracts.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders via meetings or virtual meetings to resolve issues of facilities job status, priorities, milestones, tracking procedures and schedules.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in facilities planning, programming and funding to assess and advise supported clients on feasibility of their requirements.
  • Determine deficiencies and prepare scopes of work for repair across space utilization, building environmental systems, fire and security systems, masonry and reinforced concrete construction, roofing systems, energy management, and pavement construction.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience serving as a Facility Manager for a DoD organization or certified as a Level II DAU level II Facility Engineer.
  • Experience reviewing customer requests for emergency/urgent/routine service, induct into tracking database, capturing all pertinent data, and using information from the customer and management tools to determine the importance of the service work or projects relative to financial and mission factors.
  • Experience identifying, tracking, mitigating, and managing risk and issues in a formal repository.
  • Proficient in MS Project with experience in developing program schedules for Facility Related Projects.
  • Complete PMT 0160 or at least 1 year of experience developing facility project cost estimates.
  • At least 1 years of experience in planning and managing VIP events for DoD and Military senior leaders, including serving as master of ceremonies, developing and staffing Letter of Instructions, coordinating the execution of at least 5 VIP events, and reviewing/verifying required protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point and proficiency using these applications to simultaneously track and report the progress of at least ten projects.
  • Knowledgeable of DoD Government Purchase Card Operation procedures and associated policies and proficient in performing Market Research using GSA eTools.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions.
  • Resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing duties such as coordinating and/or leading complex facilities work requirements associated with surveying, inspecting, programming, scoping, estimating, designing, monitoring, reviewing, and managing facilities sustainment, repair and maintenance, construction projects, and service contracts; interacting with stakeholders to resolve issues; and applying knowledge in facilities planning, programming and funding.
  • Broad, comprehensive knowledge of facility administration in planning, design, and construction of major structures and facilities with expertise in space utilization, building environmental systems, fire and security systems, masonry and reinforced concrete construction, roofing systems, energy management, and pavement construction and ability to determine deficiencies and prepare scopes of work for repair.
  • Experience entering work orders into SANG 127th iEMS Work Order System.
