About the role
- Participate and support Terumo’s process for managing and maintaining the MES Software system in support of project work by manufacturing departments within production.
- Assist the MES team with Gemba Walks and gathering data.
- Provide administrative and tactical support to assigned team and participate in special projects.
- Prepare a final presentation on assigned topic and present to the leadership team at end of the internship program.
- Review MES training records for new associates within departments.
- Gather information requirements through Gemba Walks (Floor walkthrough and interviews of production workers to identify optimizations).
- Complete time studies needed to support process optimizations.
- Execute MES Testing from front to end as required.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science or Business Management, or a scientific discipline program
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
