About the role

  • Support systems engineering efforts across the portfolio of sustaining projects ranging from compliance, service and cost—from concept development through design, integration, testing, and implementation.
  • Define and manage system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, quality) to ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and root cause analyses to support design decisions.
  • Develop and execute system verification and validation plans, including test protocols and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in an R&D or product development environment.
  • General understanding of systems engineering principles (INCOSE, MBSE, V-model, etc.).
  • Proficiency in tools such as Solidworks, Matlab, Minitab, and others.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in R&D and the Medical Device Industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, Design for Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturability.
