About the role
- Manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines
- Coordinate with consultants providing environmental survey support
- Review technical reports provided by consultants
- Review project design in collaboration with development and engineering
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies
Requirements
- 3+ years in renewable energy permitting or 6-8+ years in a similar industry
- Experience and familiarity interpreting federal and state environmental laws
- Knowledge of environmental policy, regulation and compliance
- Must be detail oriented with positive people skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to navigate web-based mapping platforms
- Experience in ArcGIS a plus
- Preference given to residents of New York or Eastern time zone
