About the role
- Own the end-to-end product design process: research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity design, and post-launch iteration.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leads to explore, refine, and pressure-test potential solutions.
- Deliver immediate value while building for scale by designing pragmatic, user-centered solutions for ERW project planning, operations, and MRV.
- Translate complex, technical, and ambiguous processes into intuitive workflows.
- Facilitate and lead user research sessions, design workshops, and visioning exercises.
- Champion usability, accessibility, and platform cohesion, advocating for user needs across product development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of web and mobile design experience.
- Experience leading end-to-end design projects for operationally-oriented software platforms.
- Experience designing for operational, scientific, or data-intensive workflows.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, user-centered design work and decision-making.
- Proficient with modern design and prototyping tools (wireframing, mockups, prototypes).
- Skilled in user research and testing (interviews, field visits, feedback sessions).
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Portuguese.
- Portfolio required (include password, if relevant).
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to São Paulo and be in the office 5 days a week.
