About the role
- Plans, directs, and coordinates Manufacturing Support activities
- Acts as a key liaison between global manufacturing locations and VP/Business Director
- Oversees Supply Chain Management activities
- Coordinates activities to improve efficiency
- Works with key staff to develop manufacturing strategies
- Supports customer launch activities and requirements
- Provides support and direction to plant and business unit quality issues
- Implements and coordinates corrective action plans
Requirements
- Knowledge of the specific principles and procedures of plant operations
- Supply chain management experience
- Launch management experience
- Quality systems knowledge
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess excellent presentation skills
- Ability to travel approximately 30% - 50%
