About the role
- Manage recruitment, the onboarding process, and requirement for the corporate functional groups.
- Implementation of policies, practices, and procedures necessary for the well-being of the company and its team members.
- Administration of the company’s benefits plans, by presenting and interpreting benefits programs to all salaried employees.
- Create and prepare HR Reports as requested for headcount, AAP reports, Merit and AIP audit reports, including acting as a key steward for data accuracy.
- Manage the offboarding process.
- Assist with the coordination of the company training program, including recognition of training needs, development of materials, and delivery of training.
- Plan and prepare succession planning with Human Resources Managers for the salaried staff.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as required.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to enhance HR programs and practice.
- Conduct wage and salary administration programs.
- Develop and maintain procedures and programs for providing employee services to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale.
- Responsible for continual improvement projects and review as they apply to the department.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Provide other support to the Management team as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.
- 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience in positions of increasing accountability.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Highly proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis with large datasets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Ability to work in a high paced corporate environment
- Ability to work onsite in Northville, MI.
