Full-stack Engineer

• Build AI–powered automation systems as needed across the full customer journey: developer sign-up engagement, account research, contact discovery, opportunity management, customer health monitoring, and more.
• Embed with sales, marketing, and technical services teams to observe how work actually happens — conducting process audits, shadowing deal reviews, and mapping handoffs end-to-end — then build the systems that eliminate friction.
• Ship code on Temporal Cloud, setting up workflows to orchestrate interactions across a broad range of distributed data stores and tools.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Data, and Business Systems teams to define data sources and destinations while maintaining the highest standards of data security and integrity.
• Partner with the GTM Systems to make “build vs. buy” decisions and maximize the impact of Temporal’s revenue technology stack.
• Educate other members of the Revenue Operations and GTM teams on best practices for using AI in their day-to-day roles, collaborating with GTM Enablement on scaling best practices across the organization
• Establish and measure success metrics for every system you build, share learnings with stakeholders, and iterate relentlessly based on what the data shows.

Senior GTM Engineer

Program Manager

• This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA. This position requires two weeks of in-office presence to support and facilitate in-person onboarding experiences, with the remainder of time flexible.
• Own and evolve Temporal’s company wide onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, ensuring new hires are set up for success before day one and supported during their onboarding experience
• Design and deliver a cohort-based onboarding program that blends asynchronous learning, live virtual sessions, and recurring multi day in-person immersions, with learning intentionally spaced and timed for relevance
• Plan and execute a multi-day in-person onboarding immersion (and monthly in-person cohort sessions), including agenda design, facilitation, logistics coordination, and hands-on learning experiences tied to Temporal’s product, customers, and culture
• Create and maintain engaging onboarding content such as documentation, presentations, recorded videos, case studies, reflection exercises, and interactive materials that reinforce how Temporal operates and how employees succeed
• Partner closely with managers to integrate role-specific onboarding, including 30-60-90 day plans, clear expectations for success, and manager enablement throughout the first three months
• Explore and integrate AI tools and best practices into onboarding programs to enhance productivity, learning outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during onboarding, ensuring clear communication, a welcoming experience, and thoughtful connections to peers, managers, and the broader company
• Coordinate cross-functionally with People Operations, IT, Finance, and team leaders to ensure onboarding runs smoothly and employees are fully set up from day one
• Build, organize, and maintain onboarding resources in Notion and other tools, ensuring content stays current, accessible, and easy to navigate as the company scales
• Gather feedback and track onboarding effectiveness, using qualitative input and metrics to continuously improve the experience while preserving a high-touch, human feel
• Scale onboarding programs thoughtfully to support company growth while maintaining a personalized, high-quality experience for every new hire

Onboarding Program Manager

• Lead the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle: goals & requirements solicitation, design & review, implementation, operationalization & deployment, support & maintenance.
• Lead feature design, review with stakeholders, iterate to incorporate feedback and drive consensus.
• Clearly document design choices and operational knowledge to successfully deploy and manage the software you develop.

Staff Software Engineer, DevProd – Infrastructure Observability

• Own reliability outcomes for operating Temporal Cloud end to end, partnering across engineering, infrastructure, and product to drive measurable improvements.
• Define, implement, and evolve reliability targets and associated practices, including alerting thresholds, operational readiness criteria, and escalation paths.
• Plan and run gamedays to validate incident response, operational procedures, and cross-team coordination under realistic failure scenarios.
• Build and scale a chaos testing program that exercises failure modes safely and drives remediation work that reduces real risk.
• Define and maintain a reliability scorecard across services and key operational processes, and use it to prioritize reliability investments.
• Lead load testing and performance testing efforts, including test design, tooling, and analysis of bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
• Improve observability standards (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards) so reliability signals are consistent, actionable, and easy to audit.
• Drive post-incident learning and corrective actions, ensuring fixes are durable and reduce recurrence risk over time.
• Make system-level tradeoffs across reliability, performance, cost, and velocity, and document decisions clearly for long-term maintainability.
• Mentor other engineers and raise the bar on reliability engineering practices across teams.

Staff Software Engineer – Reliability

Director

• Deliver high-quality analytical outputs, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs), productivity benchmarks, and data-driven recommendations for the executive team.
• Partner closely with Finance and GTM leadership to lead the annual and semi-annual planning cycles, including the development and deployment of headcount models, territory design, and sales quotas.
• Build and maintain sophisticated headcount and capacity models to ensure the GTM organization is staffed to hit aggressive revenue targets based on historical ramp times and attrition.
• Design and optimize sales territories using data-driven methodologies to ensure equitable patch distribution and maximum market coverage across segments.
• Partner closely with the Data team to design and deploy predictive models (e.g. account propensity) as well as more traditional business intelligence reporting.
• Analyze the health of the sales pipeline and marketing funnel to identify leading indicators of growth and pinpoint potential bottlenecks in the customer journey.
• Monitor and evaluate sales productivity performance over time, detecting trends in attainment and developing "what good looks like" profiles for various sales roles.
• Conduct "white space" and TAM/SAM analyses to identify new vertical or geographic opportunities for expansion.
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and narratives, providing the data-backed backbone for Board-level and investor discussions.

Director, Planning & Analytics

• Lead the design and implementation of core components of Temporal’s OSS replication stack, from initial design through rollout and long-term operational ownership.
• Design and evolve replication protocols that power High Availability namespaces, Cross-cluster and cross-region replication, Migration between Temporal clusters (cloud ↔ self-hosted, cloud ↔ cloud).
• Build scalability and reliability capabilities such as Multi-cell namespaces, Protocols enabling a single namespace to span multiple clusters, Dynamic split/merge strategies based on usage, hot spots, and capacity needs.
• Reason deeply about correctness: consistency models, ordering guarantees, idempotency, failure recovery, and safe rollouts of protocol changes.
• Drive cross-team alignment with Cloud Enablement and other CGS teams to ensure OSS foundations support current and future cloud products.
• Author high-quality design docs that clarify invariants, trade-offs, failure modes, and operational playbooks for complex changes.
• Raise engineering standards through reviews, mentorship, and technical leadership—improving correctness testing, fault injection, and incident readiness.
• Participate in on-call/incident response related to replication and core system behavior, helping build durable fixes and prevention mechanisms.

Staff Software Engineer – Replication Foundations

• Be the trusted advisor and force multiplier for your assigned sales teams - embedded via AE 1x1s, team calls, forecast calls, deal reviews, QBRs, and onsites
• Own partner strategy and execution across the enterprise pipeline: select the right partner motion, engage the right partners, and drive tight execution to close
• Increase partner-impacted pipeline and closed/won by building repeatable partner plays with sales leadership and making them real in day-to-day selling
