  • Role Summary: Temporal is an open source programming model that can simplify code, make applications more reliable, and help developers focus on delivering features faster.
  • You’ll be joining a high-performing and values-driven recruiting team that’s passionate about quality, candidate experience, and partnering with hiring managers in deeply strategic ways.
  • We are looking for a collaborative and motivated Recruiter to join Temporal on a 6 month contract.
  • You’ll be stepping into a high-impact position during a pivotal stage of our growth, with direct visibility across executive leadership, hiring managers, and key business initiatives.
  • In this role, you will play a key role in identifying and attracting exceptional talent across engineering, go-to-market, and general operations functions.
  • Working closely with hiring managers, People Operations, and leadership, you’ll develop and execute recruiting strategies that uphold our commitment to hiring with intentionality and excellence.
  • Your efforts will have a direct impact on Temporal’s scaling trajectory, ensuring we bring in people who share our mission and values and contribute to our culture of excellence and belonging.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with exposure to software engineering and technical roles, ideally with distributed systems
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment such as a growth-stage startup or top-tier tech company
  • Demonstrated ability to source passive candidates and engage technical talent communities
  • Strong working knowledge of ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred) and Sourcing platforms (HireEZ strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with senior leadership
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple searches without dropping the ball
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for building diverse, values-aligned teams
  • A strong sense of urgency balanced with thoughtfulness and care in decision-making
