About the role
- Support the analysis of product usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to defining and tracking key product metrics (e.g. activation, engagement, retention).
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor product performance.
- Support the analysis of experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to evaluate product changes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on tracking concepts and event definitions.
- Help translate data into clear, actionable insights for the product team.
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure data reliability and quality.
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Consistent availability of ~20 hours per week during the semester.
- You have a good working knowledge of SQL and are comfortable writing and adapting queries.
- You have basic experience with Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas, notebooks).
- Ideally, you have first exposure to BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) or product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog, Amplitude).
- You are curious, self-driven, and comfortable working in a cross-functional team.
- Fluency in English, German is a plus.
