About the role
- Produce high-quality content across formats: written pieces, social posts, short-form video, email content, and educational assets that earn attention through strong hooks, clear structure, and tangible value.
- Design content for readability and engagement with scannable layouts, logical flow, and purposeful pacing that people actually finish and remember.
- Translate complex energy market concepts into simple, credible explanations without oversimplifying, especially for brokers and partners.
- Use AI tools for first drafts, research, restructuring, and repurposing, applying judgement and editing to ensure output meets tem's quality and tone standards.
- Maintain a steady publishing rhythm with personal accountability for delivery, focusing on depth over noise.
- Create clear, credible content that helps brokers understand and explain tem, turning product updates into simple, usable explanations.
- Adapt content for different contexts without diluting its core idea or clarity.
- Pay close attention to how content is received (what gets read, shared, referenced, or ignored) and adjust tone, format, and structure based on real engagement signals.
- Learn by shipping and refining rather than over-planning, keeping notes on what works for your own practice.
- Work closely with Product Marketing when translating technical changes into plain language.
Requirements
- 2-5 years content marketing experience, ideally B2B SaaS or tech.
- Strong writing ability as primary skill: this is non-negotiable.
- Demonstrated ability to create visual content (social graphics, basic video editing, motion graphics, or similar).
- Proven AI tool proficiency with specific workflow examples showing how you use AI to accelerate production.
- Track record of consistent output. Be ready to share weekly volume numbers from past roles.
- Ability to translate technical or complex topics into clear, engaging content.
- Experience maintaining publishing cadence and personal accountability for delivery.
- Portfolio demonstrating regular publishing rhythm, not just polished one-offs.
- Bonus points:
- Experience in energy, cleantech, or regulated industries.
- Background in digital marketing generalist roles, YouTube/social content creation, or fast-paced agency environments.
- Motion graphics or animated explainer video skills.
- Experience creating broker or partner enablement content.
- Can demonstrate specific productivity gains from AI tool adoption (it’s early days, we know, but we want to see how you’re embracing AI to scale your capabilities).
Benefits
- Salary aligned to internal benchmarks and reviewed twice a year.
- Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission.
