About the role
- Design and build reusable platform solutions
- Spearhead the evolution of our Packer-driven VM image pipelines
- Lead application migrations into GCP
- Expand our GitOps practices by managing ArgoCD implementations
- Partner with SRE and engineering teams to translate their infrastructure needs
- Architect solutions that eliminate technical debt
- Mentor and pair-program with junior team members
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles
- Deep, practical expertise provisioning and managing highly-available infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP)
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with automation scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
