About the role
- Support the strategic implementation of AI solutions and our digital ecosystem across CC&C and TELUS
- Introduce short-term and long-term operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities for expanding the scope of these initiatives
- Manage end-to-end projects, and generate excitement for and understanding of emerging technologies
- Develop and execute AI transformational projects from ideation to implementation, bridging technical and business priorities, with clear KPIs (e.g. adoption rate of new tools, cost savings, efficiency gains)
- Drive skill-building, development and adoption of AI tools, to facilitate the understanding and use of these solutions across CC&C
- Partner with IT and architecture teams to define technical requirements for platform consolidation, including API integrations, Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation and data mapping
- Audit existing intranets and legacy repositories to design a scalable Information Architecture (IA); define metadata schemas and taxonomies that optimize searchability and ensure data integrity during complex migrations
- Research industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their integration across the team and TELUS
- Provide regular updates and executive storytelling to senior leaders and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and negotiate between technical and business teams
- Proven track record of leading digital transformations and platform consolidations, with a solid grasp of how CMS, HRIS and collaborative toolsets interact via APIs
- A systems-thinking mindset – you don’t just move content, you understand how data structures and user permissions impact the long-term scalability of a digital workplace
- Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and comfortably present to a leadership audience
- Solid project management fundamentals, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong business literacy to understand how technical decisions impact organizational goals
- Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.
