About the role

  • You will provide counselling by phone or video to clients of TELUS Health's Employee Assistance Program
  • You will work as an independent provider, according to your availability.
  • You will provide short-term counselling to a diverse client population in accordance with their EAP provisions;
  • You will complete administrative follow-up for cases using the provided clinical templates.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Current, active membership in good standing with the OPQ, OTSTCFQ, or OPSQ
  • Minimum of five years of post-master's clinical experience
  • Ability to establish short-term goals and use a solution-focused approach
  • Able to manage crisis or high-risk situations
  • Good knowledge of community resources
