About the role
- Perform detailed analysis of clients' pension plan calculation rules
- Act as the link between the client and the project team in terms of pension plan calculations
- Configure the software to suit specifics of the client's pension plan
- Write specifications according to needs and requests of clients regarding new software developments
- Ensure proper integration of the software with other software for the client
- Participate in development of a specific testing strategy for the software configuration and new developments
- Participate in review of test scenarios with selection criteria required by the plan
- Provide support to the quality assurance team
- Collaborate in development of the software by providing suggestions for improvement
Requirements
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an appropriate field
- Experience in pension plans calculations
- Ability to understand and use current computer technologies and a good knowledge of Excel software
- Recognized for analytical and summarizing skills, sense of organization and flexibility in managing multiple projects
- Good initiative and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Ability to establish priorities and meet timelines
- Available to travel occasionally (Canada, US)
- Fluency in both French and English
