About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Billing Support Analysts
- Act as escalation point for complex or sensitive billing issues
- Partner with Billing, Customer Service Managers, and Operations teams to resolve systemic issues
- Serve as subject-matter resource for Customer Service Managers, Clients, Collections Specialists, and Billing teams
- Support Collections by clarifying billing questions that may impact dispute resolution and cash collection
- Track and report on key metrics including error volumes, root causes, turnaround times, and recurring issues
- Communicate insights, recommendations, and updates to management and stakeholders
- Set priorities and monitor team performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in billing, finance operations, or customer financial support roles
- Proficiency with ERP, billing, or customer management systems especially Workday and/or Salesforce
- Strong understanding of billing processes, dispute management, and financial controls
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Customer Service, Operations, and IT teams
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, and/or Google Office suite
