About the role
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and inspection of intrusion prevention and fire detection equipment
- Interpret technical bulletins and schematics
- Recommend security system equipment upgrades
- Assist customers with following operational procedures and maintaining equipment
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Valid BSP (Bureau de la sécurité privée) permit
- Valid CCQ competency certificate
- Post-secondary education in electronics, computer science, or a related field
- Knowledge of the operation and use of intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control equipment
- Eligibility for bonding (security clearance and criminal record check required)
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
