About the role

  • Develop and execute customer loyalty and churn-prevention programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Pricing, and Customer Success Management (CSM), to create and implement comprehensive customer retention strategies
  • Leverage insights from the CSM team, customer usage data, and feedback to identify at-risk accounts and design end-to-end customer lifecycle programs
  • Develop and track churn-prevention metrics such as customer satisfaction, product adoption, and engagement, while optimizing strategies to improve customer lifetime value
  • Drive increased product usage and engagement
  • Oversee employer account communications with CSM teams, including onboarding, training, and lifecycle follow-ups, ensuring messages are aligned with business objectives and customer needs
  • Deepen customer engagement through lifecycle strategies that promote product adoption and a superior customer experience
  • Introduce a segmented strategy
  • Develop data-driven approaches to segment and target customers across the Canadian and U.S. markets, addressing the unique needs of each customer segment
  • Partner with marketing, product, and CSM teams to develop a customer segmentation approach that boosts retention and engagement across our client base
  • Maximize customer lifetime value
  • Identify key opportunities for price increases, upselling, and cross-selling through in-depth customer analysis, ensuring offers meet customer needs at different lifecycle stages
  • Coordinate with product and CSM teams to deliver targeted campaigns that create compelling value propositions and increase retention and product usage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in insurance, employee benefits, or healthcare
  • Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking skills, with a passion for using data to inform marketing strategies, solve complex problems, and translate insights into concrete action plans
  • Experience working with sales teams to align strategies and achieve shared objectives
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools is an asset
  • Experience in employee benefits, virtual care solutions, mental health services, or corporate wellness solutions is a strong asset
  • Experience with insurers, brokers, or consultants is a strong asset
