About the role
- Support the formulation, review, and maintenance of interline rates, SPAs, and pricing structures with partner airlines.
- Ensure timely filing, updating, and withdrawal of interline tariffs in systems.
- Monitor pricing alignment across origin–destination flows to ensure consistency and competitiveness and optimized profits
- Coordinate with Sales, Network, Revenue Management, and Operations to align pricing strategies with commercial objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and interline performance to identify revenue opportunities and risks.
- Prepare pricing simulations, margin analysis, and post-implementation reviews of interline agreements.
- Ensure pricing practices comply with internal policies
- Maintain proper documentation of pricing decisions, approvals, and agreements.
- Support audits and management reviews related to interline pricing.
- Maintain accurate rate data in pricing, booking, and billing system modules.
- Support process improvements to enhance pricing efficiency, data accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Assist in automation and digital initiatives related to pricing and interline management.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on interline pricing performance and trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for pricing adjustments or strategic actions.
- Support the Pricing Manager in special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in airline or air cargo pricing, revenue management, or interline-related roles.
- Solid understanding of interline agreements, SPAs, proration concepts, and cargo pricing fundamentals.
- Well versed in IATA Clearing House Settlements
- Experience working with pricing and airline cargo management systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Good commercial judgment and structured problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; exposure to airline pricing systems is an advantage.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving market and network dynamics.
