About the role
- Help the sales team drive revenue growth by evangelizing Teleport technology via demos and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineering teams at customer organizations.
- Support customers exploring AI/MCP use cases, including secure infrastructure for training and inference workloads.
- Advise on protecting sensitive datasets and tool endpoints with Teleport’s identity-based controls.
- Position Teleport to eliminate API keys and static tokens in AI pipelines through certificate-based identity.
- Work closely with sales reps and founders to address business challenges.
- Deliver demonstrations and engage with customers through their evaluation of Teleport.
- Assist across go-to-market activities: marketing collateral, product positioning, customer interviews, sales cycle optimizations, conferences, meetups, brand evangelism.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a highly technical customer-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and securing infrastructure at scale.
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AI/LLM infrastructure (GPU clusters, data governance, inference workloads, ML pipelines) and associated security requirements and shortcomings.
- Ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with credibility and clarity.
- Experience with using/configuring/debugging Linux machines and Network issues.
- Strong Knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform
- Proven ability to develop scripts and automation using Linux Shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong understanding of system architecture, provisioning, and administration
