About the role

  • Install, configure, and optimize hardware, software, and network-connected products at customer sites
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory and process equipment
  • Diagnose performance issues and recommend solutions that improve equipment reliability
  • Provide customer training and technical guidance to enhance proper equipment use and preventative care
  • Respond proactively to potential issues to minimize downtime and unplanned business interruptions
  • Serve as a technical resource for colleagues and customers, occasionally mentoring other field engineers
  • Support high‑volume customer locations with on‑site calibration services
  • Ensure professional, timely communication and a strong customer service experience

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience servicing analytical or laboratory instrumentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; Associate degree with experience also considered
  • 5–10 years of related equipment troubleshooting, calibration, or repair experience
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and maintain a valid driver’s license
