About the role
- The role should be defined as the product expert in Teknion's Architectural Interior portfolio and to convey the technical abilities of our systems.
- Responsibilities include establishing and/or maintaining business partnerships; making distribution partner, end user, A&D, and GC sales calls and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date forecasts; increasing Teknion’s Architectural Interior volume and market share within the given territory.
- Bid direction and response, and providing technical expertise to the territory.
- Meet or exceed mutually agreed upon territorial revenue goals.
- Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of all Teknion Architectural products and competitive offerings as well as a working knowledge of all Teknion products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in related field
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in at least one of these: Architectural Interiors, Interior Architecture, Design, and/or construction industries with successful sales track record.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Requires excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a self-starter that works efficiently and independently.
- Ability to successfully contribute to or manage multi-discipline teams/projects.
- Relentless drive to fuel product line sales and profitability through innovative programs and exceptional service.
- Solid decision making and organizational development skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to learn and utilize Teknion systems and other technologies, as required.
