About the role
- Review existing documentation and current processes;
- Meet with stakeholders to validate objectives and issues;
- Establish a detailed work plan and a deliverables schedule;
- Map targeted processes (academic program administration, internships, simulation schedules, workloads);
- Identify pain points, constraints and risks;
- Gather user requirements through interviews and workshops;
- Propose optimized target processes;
- Document functional and technical requirements (use cases, business rules, integration with existing solutions, etc.);
- Prioritize features and automations;
- Develop realistic solution scenarios (optimization, automation, implementation of new solutions, enhancement of existing tools, etc.);
- Analyze the benefits, limitations and risks of proposed scenarios;
- Provide evidence-based recommendations;
- Propose an implementation plan (phases, milestones and deliverables);
- Define success criteria and performance indicators;
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies;
- Prepare documentation for the transition to the execution phase;
- Maintain regular communication with the steering committee;
- Produce reports and progress notes at agreed milestones;
- Ensure rigorous document management of deliverables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years in business analysis, including delivery of complex projects;
- Proven experience in analyzing and optimizing administrative and academic processes, particularly in a university context and in relation to digital transformation;
- Proficient in requirement analysis techniques, process modeling standards and business documentation practices;
- Autonomous, rigorous, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a critical, creative mindset.
