About the role

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of geospatial information systems.
  • Design and develop application components in a .NET environment.
  • Develop geomatics functionalities using ArcGIS and ArcObjects technologies.
  • Design and implement geospatial processing workflows using FME.
  • Contribute to the management and integration of geospatial data within information systems.
  • Deploy and maintain geospatial solutions in ArcGIS Server environments.
  • Participate in the integration of web geospatial platforms using Geocortex.
  • Collaborate with functional analysis and architecture teams.
  • Contribute to optimizing the performance of geospatial processing.
  • Document technical solutions and ensure knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in geomatics, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
  • Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a programmer-analyst in the development or maintenance of information systems using a relational DBMS.
  • Have at least three (3) years of .NET development experience using ArcGIS libraries (ArcObjects).
  • Have at least two (2) years of experience developing or automating geospatial processes with FME.
  • Have at least two (2) years of development experience in a Unix or Linux environment.
  • Have practical knowledge of command-line and scripting in a Unix or Linux environment.
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience with ArcGIS Server.
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience with the Geocortex platform.
  • Have a solid understanding of geospatial system architectures.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
