About the role

  • Focus on contracting and commercial advisory work
  • Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements

Requirements

  • Admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW (or other Australian State).
  • 6-8 years’ PQE within a corporate/commercial department of a large/ boutique law firm and/or similar in-house experience, preferably within a live entertainment business.
  • Experienced in managing and resolving commercial and regulatory disputes across Australia (eg Fair Trading and Consumer Affairs bodies, and in tribunals such as NCAT and VCAT)
  • You have excellent commercial skills and feel confident in negotiating and advising on commercial contracts.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills.
  • Highly efficient, organised and comfortable prioritising workload and operating in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Naturally curious with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • Continuous improvement mindset always looking for innovative ways to work and resolve problems.
  • Confidence liaising directly with a wide range of stakeholders.
