Learn the building design process and the pursuit process
Attend client meetings with senior technical staff members and prepare meeting notes documenting relevant decisions and discussions
Prepare Revit models and/or AutoCAD drawings and details
Assist with specification preparation and design calculations
Research technical product information
Assist other technical staff members with job site inspections to determine existing conditions and extent of progress made by contractors
Perform delegated tasks from senior staff
Attend and contribute to internal team, discipline, and project meetings
Attend project site visits to observe construction progress and/or conduct acoustic field measurements
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Be willing to travel to non-local project sites around the globe. Expected travel is <20%.
Ensure timesheets/expense reports are accurate and up-to-date daily
Achieve billed revenue target each quarter
Requirements
Education/Degree/Major: BS in Engineering and/or Physics or equivalent experience
3+ years of Architecture, Engineering, & Construction industry or equivalent experience
Knowledge of acoustic fundamentals, vibration fundamentals, HVAC system noise control, digital signal processing, electroacoustics, human responses to acoustics, and vibration
Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit) experience is a plus
Bluebeam Studio experience is a plus
Acoustic modeling software (EASE, CATT, ODEON, INSUL, etc.) experience is a plus
MaxMSP experience is a plus
Recording, sound design, binaural/3D/ambisonics sound, multimedia, interactive or generative sound design, live sound, video production, production/staging is a plus
