• HR is a critical function supporting the makers of TED’s work — our employees!
• We are seeking an experienced, people-first HR professional to join our team in the role of HR Manager overseeing a range of functional areas
• Managing TED’s leave of absence program, talent acquisition and recruitment support, payroll, and remuneration
• The HR Manager will be entrusted with sensitive data and information
• Ensure LOA policies are best practice and compliant with US federal, state, and local regulations, plus Canada laws and regulations
• Manage payroll reconciliation and Smart Sheet updates for leaves, to include notifications to Finance and HR to coordinate leave pay continuity and benefit coverage
• Act as a bridge between Leave Consultant, employees and managers to ensure consistent communication, tracking and accuracy around leave planning
• Lead payroll processing in partnership with the Finance team under the direction of CFO and Director of Finance
• Champion an inclusive hiring process while serving as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers, external recruiters, and new hires through the recruitment process

• Collaborate, and resourceful team managing TED’s leave of absence program, talent acquisition and recruitment support, payroll, and remuneration
• Oversee a range of functional areas, to include managing TED’s leave of absence program
• Act as primary point of contact for employees navigating leave, providing empathetic guidance
• Ensure LOA policies are best practice and compliant with US federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate leave records, tracking and reporting by monitoring Leave Consultant dashboard
• Act as a bridge between Leave Consultant, employees and managers to ensure consistent communication
• Lead payroll processing in partnership with the Finance team under the direction of CFO and Director of Finance
• Support the remuneration process to include merit increases & promotions working alongside CFO & CHRO
• Champion an inclusive hiring process while serving as a trusted advisor to Hiring Managers

Graphics Designer

• Design marketing assets including ad creatives, landing page/website visuals and email graphics
• Create sales collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies and proposals
• Design visuals, brand assets and other product collateral (e.g. thumbnails, banners, slides), client engagement resources and course materials
• Develop and update slide and one-pager templates for use across the team
• Support brand storytelling through visuals aligned with our brand guidelines, as well as client use cases or data
• Manage multiple projects, requests and deadlines across stakeholders, tracking status and proactively communicating obstacles or time constraints
• Translate the value of TED@Work’s offerings into clear, compelling visual narratives for enterprise buyers
• Collaborate with TED@Work stakeholders to ensure clarity, consistency and visual cohesion
• Continuously bring fresh ideas and thoughtful design solutions
