About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, development teams, and customers, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with product strategy.
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to keep teams focused, aligned, and delivering value.
- Partner closely with engineering to drive the successful delivery of features, enhancements, and integrations.
- Leverage market research and competitive insights to inform product decisions and roadmap priorities.
- Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, uncover gaps, and shape meaningful product improvements.
- Oversee the rollout of new integrations, providing hands-on support to customers during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.
- Contribute to the creation of clear technical documentation and user stories for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product development supports broader business objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role within a technology-driven environment.
- Strong grasp of product management fundamentals and Agile delivery, particularly Scrum.
- Solid technical acumen, with the ability to understand complex systems and clearly communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with ERP platforms; exposure to Oracle, Workday, Infor, or similar systems is a strong asset.
- Background or working knowledge of supply chain processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships across teams.
- Hands-on experience in implementation or delivery roles, ideally in ERP or complex technology environments.
- Exposure to hospital inventory management or healthcare supply chains would be an asset.
- Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
