About the role
- Introduce innovative, digital, and AI-driven approaches (microlearning, social learning, AI-powered tools, blended programs) to enhance the employee learning experience.
- Translate organizational priorities into learning strategies that strengthen technical and product knowledge as well as professional and leadership skills.
- Support and lead the development of competency-based training for Tecsys managers and employees.
- Co-design an organizational competency framework that supports upskilling, competency-based learning, and career development.
- Conduct data-driven needs analyses to identify skill gaps and learning priorities.
- Apply instructional design best practices to create engaging, learner-centered content (e-learning, workshops, simulations, on-the-job learning) and scalable learning pathways.
- Design targeted skills development programs across functions as needed (product, engineering, customer success, sales, etc.).
- Continuously evaluate and improve programs based on learner feedback, adoption data, and impact on business outcomes.
- Benchmark against industry instructional design best practices to ensure the company’s learning solutions remain modern and competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in L&D, including digital and AI-driven approaches (microlearning, social learning, AI-powered tools, blended programs).
- Experience creating competency frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing online training (multimedia expertise).
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Experience implementing or scaling customer/partner training programs, academies, or certification models (ideally in a SaaS or technology environment) is an asset.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, essential for effective communication with clients, vendors, business partners, and colleagues outside the province of Quebec.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
