About the role
- Develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) for S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud.
- Create and optimize CDS Views, OData services, and business entities.
- Implement business logic in ABAP classes for RAP (Behavior Implementation).
- Integrate SAP applications with external systems via REST APIs and SAP BTP services.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and refine technical requirements.
- Ensure application performance and security.
- Perform unit tests and support integrated testing.
- Document architecture and developed components.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of ABAP development experience, including at least 1 year with RAP.
- Experience with SAP Build Apps and SAP Automation.
- Proficiency in CDS Views, Annotations, and OData V2/V4.
- Experience with ABAP Cloud or extensions on S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of integration via SAP BTP.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Desired: Basic knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 for consuming RAP services.
- SAP certification: ABAP for S/4HANA or ABAP Cloud.
- Intermediate or advanced English.
