About the role
- Lead the design, management, and administration of executive compensation programs aligned with company goals, shareholder interests, and pay philosophy.
- Partner with senior leadership, Legal, Finance, and Investor Relations to develop strategy, ensure compliance, and support Compensation Committee and Board discussions.
- Conduct competitive market analysis using executive compensation surveys and recommend pay structures based on market data, internal equity, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee annual and long‑term incentive plan design, modeling financial impact, scenario planning, and ensuring accurate grant processing and communication.
- Prepare and coordinate all executive compensation disclosures, including annual proxy statements and UKAR reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop clear, concise materials for leadership, Board, and Compensation Committee meetings; support executive-level presentations.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, partner with vendors, and provide insights on pay trends, equity usage, and compensation cost modeling to improve program effectiveness.
- Manage a small team, providing coaching, development, performance feedback, and oversight of day‑to‑day operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR or related discipline; advanced degree or certifications in compensations (MBA, CCP, CEP) are preferred
- 8+ years related work experience, specializing in C-level compensation and rewards programs
- In-depth understanding of executive compensation practices, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting Board and Compensation Committee interactions
- Experience leading a team and proven ability to coach and develop
- Ability to engage and manage relationships at all levels
