About the role

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile best practices, ensuring alignment with the Scrum framework
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus and productivity
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure a clear vision for deliverables
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Track and report team progress using agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile facilitation role
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, Scrum framework, and software development lifecycles
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proven ability to coach teams and individuals toward self-organization and high performance
  • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms
  • Passion for technology and a desire to stay current with industry trends
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
