About the role

  • Lead and produce the monthly management accounts for Tech 21 to include the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Preparation of ALL monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure that the accounting records are properly reconciled.
  • Maintain controls across P&L, Balance Sheet and Financial Processes
  • Oversee all intercompany recharges for Tech 21 and ROW including salaries and overhead re-apportionment.
  • Monthly Sales and COS review, working closely with US counterparts to understand the numbers
  • Review monthly cost trackers for all department leads
  • Detailed Inventory accounting including valuation movements, provisions and reconciliations
  • Assist in Budget and Reforecast Process
  • Cash flow management by ensuring payments are processed on a timely basis and preparation of cash flow forecast.
  • Monthly processing of the payroll journal
  • Completion of monthly UK VAT returns on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Oversee all Tax obligations in UK and ROW for VAT, PAYE, Customs and Excise and Corporation tax
  • Support the year end audit process to provide relevant support and documentation
  • Assisting in consolidation by reconciling intercompany balances
  • Assisting the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Part Qualified professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • IT literate, with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Flexibility to work to tight and unexpected deadlines.
  • Organisation and prioritisation essential to ensure key deliverables and deadlines are met
  • Accuracy and showing attention to detail
  • Ability to be proactive in order to improve processes.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic team player.
