About the role

  • Join TeamViewer as Sales Compensation Analyst and be responsible for analyzing sales data and trends, evaluating the effectiveness of current compensation plans, and recommending changes to improve sales results.
  • This role also involves collaborating with various departments, such as Finance and HR, to ensure compensation plans align with our overall business goals.
  • Analyze sales data and determine appropriate target achievement of individual sellers and teams
  • Create and implement efficient processes for calculation and distribution of sales compensation
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of current compensation plans, making recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Establish automated tools to increase transparency on target achievement for sellers and improve accuracy of calculation
  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams and managers on compensation-related issues
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance and HR, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in sales compensation calculations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, or a similar analytical role with direct ownership of compensation calculations and payout delivery
  • Proven track record of accurately calculating and managing incentive payouts end-to-end
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail – accuracy in numbers is critical
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory
  • Hands-on experience with leading compensation tools such as Everstage or Xactly is required
  • Experience with systems such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Tableau is a plus (Candidates without these must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems)
  • Exposure to different compensation models across roles such as Sales, CSM, Channel, Retention, etc.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field preferred
