About the role
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, to be shared with clients and internal teams.
- Oversee all aspects of the implementation process from kickoff to go-live, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope and budget.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and building strong, trusted relationships.
- Coordinate internal resources, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating them to management as needed.
- Act as a customer advocate, ensuring the implementation is aligned with their business goals to drive initial value.
- Organize and facilitate client training and onboarding sessions to ensure successful user adoption and a smooth transition to the customer success team.
- Create and maintain thorough project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and change logs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant industry experience
- 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within a SaaS or technology company
- Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of software implementation projects
- A strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering positive business outcomes for clients
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency with project management software such as Jira
