About the role
- Boxes 4 U is an employee-owned packaging and industrial supplies distributor based in Plano, Texas, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth community since 1991.
- Lead our order fulfillment process end-to-end as we expand regionally, combining hands-on operational management with strategic process building.
- Lead warehouse and driver teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in full.
- Implement industry-standard processes to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency, and lifecycle management.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly to maintain smooth workflows and meet customer expectations.
- Work with the Customer Service Manager team to streamline order processing and reduce errors while maintaining friendly service.
- Design and maintain clear KPI dashboards; report regularly to senior leadership on fulfillment speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and implement targeted process improvements.
- Manage logistics for freight, delivery, and warehousing as Boxes 4 U enters new markets and build systems to scale volume without sacrificing quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Significant leadership experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics — preferably in distribution or manufacturing.
- Self stater who can drive results with significant autonomy
- Experience managing or working in a customer service environment.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements that deliver measurable results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP software, and customer service platforms.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
