💰 $62,400 - $85,000 per year
About the role
- Overseeing day-to-day field operations
- Developing project plans and monitoring performance
- Ensuring projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
- Leading the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs
- Reviewing and updating construction schedules and addressing delays
- Participating in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations
- Providing leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in Telecommunications construction supervision
- Experience in aerial fiber construction is required
- Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors
- Problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and planning skills
