About the role
- Lead operational strategy and execution for Rising Generation, with end-to-end responsibility for designing, evolving, and overseeing the systems, processes, and resources that enable the initiative to deliver on its strategic priorities.
- Own cross-team coordination and systems alignment across Rising Generation and the broader Teach For All ecosystem by serving as a strategic partner to Rising Generation’s three strategy leads.
- Steward the execution of Rising Generation’s communications and storytelling infrastructure in close partnership with Teach For All communications, media, branding, and development teams.
- Manage the operations for the Rising Generation Collective, including owning communications, data, and membership systems, and ensuring a high-quality experience across all in-person and virtual touchpoints.
- Contribute to experimentation and action in the U.S. by supporting key strategies for several of the interconnected priorities listed above.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in mission-driven, nonprofit, or social impact organizations
- Very strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
- Comfort working in a new and evolving environment, with the ability to organize work, support flexible and collaborative ways of working, and adapt priorities as the team and initiative take shape
- Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate clearly and effectively across teams and functions
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and facilitating coordination across differences in role, background, and perspective
- Exemplifies Teach For All’s core values
- Additional desirable skills/experiences (not required): Experience working with university students or recent graduates, or in higher education or youth-facing contexts; Experience working directly with communities that have experienced inequities and injustice, including as a Teach For America corps member or comparable experience.
