About the role
- Provide strategic Finance advice, analysis and support for assigned business areas/portfolios
- Proactively manage senior relationships to provide business insights, decision support and guidance
- Conduct financial analysis, research, reviews and/or audits to support functional goals/objectives
- Act as interface with Finance partners/leaders and external parties; serve as subject matter expert to senior management
- Lead or guide teams of specialists/experts and undertake complex projects and initiatives
- Develop new solutions and financial models; convert information into compelling business context and advice
- Formulate data analysis using data visualization, profiling, segmentation, and advanced modeling/analytics
- Develop financial plans, forecasts, business cases and assess outcomes (taxation, accounting practices, forecasted rates of return)
- Create story-telling presentations on business performance and competitive analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, financial controls and governance
- Identify and implement continuous process and performance improvements; manage remediation plans
- Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives and provide guidance on risk and complex situations
- Mentor and contribute to team development, knowledge transfer and a positive work environment
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Accounting or financial designation preferred
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing and ambiguous initiatives or requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills; confident presentation and facilitation skills
- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills, with experience in collecting and organizing information
- Experience with advanced modeling and analytics and data visualization tools preferred
- Occasional domestic travel
