Provide oversight, consultative advice and guidance as Lead Designer and top technical Development Specialist
Lead future direction of development and design patterns across multiple systems, complex applications and new technologies
Provide technical guidance and expertise on significant, complex development and design issues impacting transformational technology or cross-business initiatives
Help set bank standards on infrastructure, architecture and technology from a design/support/solutions perspective
Work closely with COE leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and third-party/vendor leadership to assess development and solutions designs
Manage and lead developer teams (onshore/offshore), and ensure performance, optimization, monitoring and logging best practices are applied
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate (Graduate degree preferred)
10+ years related experience
10+ years experience with Java
5+ years experience Angular 16+ (or similar UI tech like React.js)
5+ years experience with Spring framework (Spring Core with Annotation, Spring Boot, Spring Rest docs)
Good understanding of Spring Security & Authorization
2+ years experience with deployment automation tools (Jenkins or similar)
2+ years experience with logging frameworks (SLF4J, Logback or similar)
2+ years experience writing unit tests with JUnit 4
Proven experience working in agile methodology
2+ years experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure)
Sound knowledge in performance and optimization tools
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace)
Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance
Experience managing a team of developers in onshore and offshore
Highly desired: global delivery leadership, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), banking/financial services domain, high-volume low-latency web applications
